This waterfront area runs for almost a mile along Zhongshan Road and the Huangpu River. It’s a reminder of China’s colonial past and contains 52 Western-style buildings built in a variety of architectural styles (Romanesque, Baroque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Neoclassical Revival. Its a unique part if the city for its history and for the stunning views along the strip and across the water.
