Day 14: Savoring the Port

We made it to Port Macquarie today and it was giving ✨summer mode✨ again. So warm. We did the “doctor’s walk” along the front — strolled past a bunch of beaches, then climbed up around the cliffs for the views. Low-key main character moment. Then circled back to Town Beach and jumped in for a swim. The waves were actually doing their thing — just standing there getting hit by them = elite vibes.

It’s about 250 miles north of Sydney and honestly the town has a bit of a flex. Big on the artsy scene, good food spots, strong surf culture, and that “we work but also we chill” lifestyle. Feels like everyone holidays here for a reason.

Beach was solid, lifeguards on duty, but not gonna lie — the water was kinda freezing.

Last day on the central north coast 😭 We’ve had such a good time, but tomorrow we’re heading back to Sydney. End of the coastal era
